2/Kohechi Hatenasi rout
The origin of the Hatenashi place name is that these mountains are endlessly spreading.
Around 1,000 years ago, it is transmitted to the Heike who was defeated by the Genpei battle, living in this mountain village and living while remembering the city.
We came to Yamaguchi tea house ruins. Although this old road is a very steep road, it was the closest way from the capital to the Hongu shrine. Did a lot of people go through this road ?
We will also walk a steep climb. We reached Kannonpo. Thirty-three Kannon statue are lining along this road. It is also a Kannonin.
I appreciate what I came here today, and I align my hands.
Three Buddha statues are placed in Kannondo.
The climbing slope still continues.
Finally We arrived at the top of the mountain. We leave at 11 o'clock and it is two o'clock now. I feel I walked a lot, but it is still three and half km from the starting point. It is approximately 5, 5 km to Yakio bus stop. Let's rest a bit here.
